Working closely with members and partners, they provide strategic direction, oversee implementation of programmes, and ensure the Association delivers meaningful services to farmers.

Working With Partners

The Association values collaboration with local governments, research institutions, private sector organizations, financial institutions, civil society, and development partners. Through these partnerships, we mobilize resources, implement innovative programmes, and expand opportunities that improve the livelihoods of farming communities.

In its early years, UNFFE focused on mobilizing farmers, strengthening local farmer organizations, and creating channels for dialogue with government and development partners. Over time, our mandate expanded to include policy advocacy, market development, training, and the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices.

From humble beginnings, UNFFE has grown into a respected national institution, recognized for its role in shaping agricultural policy, empowering rural communities, and creating opportunities for farmers to compete in local, regional, and international markets. Our history is one of resilience, unity, and commitment to ensuring that farming remains a dignified, profitable, and sustainable livelihood in Uganda.
